Can I join Move With Us if I'm Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant, we would recommend our Pregnancy Program!

Coach Rachel has teamed up with Women's Health experts Sheridan Skye, Sarah Percy, and Lisa Nicolaisen to create a 31-week Program designed to support you through every stage of pregnancy.

This Program is ideal for women with some prior experience in strength training or regular exercise, whether it’s your first pregnancy or not.

It’s designed to build on your existing fitness foundation while safely adapting to the unique physical demands of pregnancy.

If you're new to training, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider first and exploring beginner-friendly prenatal programs before starting this one. Our Get Started Program is beginner friendly with both pre and post natal exercise swaps available for you to customise your workouts.

Also, our Get Started Program, FIT, Strong, and Busy Girl Workouts include pre and postnatal swap options.

Consulting with your GP, specialist or healthcare provider is strongly advised before participating in any exercise program as pregnancy and postpartum are such different experiences for everyone, meaning unfortunately we’re not in a position to advise on exact modifications you may need to make to your fitness or nutrition in each individual circumstance. Do note that we don't currently cater to Breastfeeding when tailoring your Meal Guide and Nutritional targets.

However, if you reach out to your Doctor/Lactation Consultant or Dietitian and ask for a recommended intake (eg 2400 calories), we'd happily help you in updating the calorie intake for you.

To make your Program workouts pre and postnatal friendly, follow these simple steps:

1. Head to your Profile

2. Navigate to Settings

3. Under Pregnancy, select 'Yes'

4. Specify whether you are prenatal or postnatal

5. Click 'Submit' to save your preferences

All pregnancy-safe exercises will be marked with a symbol next to them if you have marked that you are pre or post-natal in the questionnaire or settings.

If you would like to switch an exercise to one that is pregnancy safe please follow the below instructions:

1. Click 'Workouts'

2. Choose the workout you'd like to edit

3. Click directly on the exercise you'd like to swap

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose your preferred swap that is marked with the pregnancy symbol.

5. Click 'Swap With This Exercise'

If you've selected 'Yes' in your profile but still encounter exercises that aren't pregnancy-safe, don't worry! Here's how you can switch to a pregnancy-safe alternative if available:

1. Click 'Workouts'

2. Choose the workout you'd like to edit

3. Click directly on the exercise you'd like to swap

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose your preferred swap that is marked with the pregnancy symbol.

5. Click 'Swap With This Exercise'
