Choosing your goal is an important step in your journey, and gives you one ideal path to focus on. But we get it, sometimes choosing that path isn't easy! Here's a guide to each goal you can choose from with our Fitness Programs to help you make an informed decision.

When you sign up with us, one of the first things we ask you is what goal you want to work towards, so we can help make it happen for you!

If you're confused about what exactly those goals mean, we've put together a little summary of what to expect from each of our goals:

Lose Body Fat: This goal is perfect if you are interested in losing weight and body fat! To achieve this goal, we will place you in a moderate calorie deficit, meaning you will be burning more energy than consuming.

This goal is not the best for you if you want to increase your lean muscle mass significantly.

Both: This goal will place you in a mild calorie deficit (slightly higher calories compared to Fat Loss). This is aimed at a steady fat loss while preserving as much lean muscle as possible. While your muscle mass is unlikely to increase dramatically on this goal, you will sculpt and shape your physique and create muscle definition through a combination of training and nutrition.

This goal is also a perfect transition point between Fat Loss and Muscle Gain.

Gain Muscle: If you select this goal, we will work with you to achieve an optimal calorie surplus - meaning consuming slightly more than you burn, thus providing the necessary fuel for muscle growth.

When in a surplus, please note that your measurements and weight are very likely to increase slightly - this is all part of the process!

Maintenance: If you select this goal, you are looking to maintain your current weight. This Nutrition goal is perfect if you are transitioning between Lose Body Fat or Both and are looking to provide your body with a break from large deficits. The outcome of this goal depends on your starting point - it can range from a mild deficit to a mild surplus.
